I’ve had this cami wide leg jumpsuit since the good people at Sammydress sent it over towards the end of 2016. When I received it, I immediately saw myself styling it in 2 ways, a casual wide leg jumpsuit outfit with a hat and a formal look with a plain shirt.
Fastforward to the day I eventually wore it, I had to switch up the initially planned styles to this look. First of all, I forgot all my hats back at my parents’ and went back to Abuja (my current base).
Although, I was already expecting them at the time of initial shooting of this outfit. Not having the hats gave me the opportunity to come up with other styling ideas. Usually, I go for colors like navy, black, grey, etc when it comes to certain fashion pieces like this wide leg jumpsuit.
Something caught my attention in this one, the unusual design and the contrast buttons. I liked the combo and decided to try it out. I still kept it safe by going with a black top but I love that the black color makes the yellow color pop.

This wide leg jumpsuit is the closest I’ve come to wearing a dungaree because of its cami style. I’ve worn different jumpsuits already on the blog, example – my custom-made graduation jumpsuit.
I’m not a newcomer to wide leg pants either. Remember my Ankara flare trousers, the wide leg pants I wore with flare sleeved top, the retro wide leg jeans and so on.
Something funny and heartbreaking happened while I was creating this post initially. The laptop i was using spoilt just after uploading the 2 photos above. I kept this post on hold for almost 2 months. I later decided to reshoot the outfit and had an indoor shoot with photographer – Joe Ali.

Thank you Nancy. Have a great week ahead!
You look stunning in the jumpsuit, I love the colour! With a darker yellow like that you could try cobalt or navy, although I do love it paired with the black top and shoes.

From the first shot i was already thinking it was a full length jumpsuit…..so i think that will equally slay. I think you can wear the jumpsuit by itself and then put a jacket over it to still achieve a corporate look by day and sexy by night
This is a nice outfit.
