Pom Pom Shoe Trend

  One thing about fashion weeks each year is that they always bring certain fashion trends to the limelight especially tricky ones like the pom pom shoe trend or the culottes trend or any other trend the cool kids are wearing these days.

 When a certain trend surfaces on the runways, we see them on a couple of fashion A-listers, bloggers, street stylers, then the obsession begins and continues for months till the next big trend knocks it off the top spot. I’ve been seeing fashionistas add pom poms to their outfits in form of accessories, some looking a bit over the top and some looking really nice and high fashion.

These pom poms have gone from being the cool pop of colors to make your bags look cooler to the eye-catching balls to make your feet pop and look cooler in a non-circus way ofcourse! but if you are into really bright colors, then go for it, no real enforceable rules in fashion afterall 🙂

 They come in different shoe styles – flats, plimsolls, heels, colors and sizes and personally while i’m still figuring out if i fully like this trend, i prefer the smaller sized ones especially on monochrome or single tone outfits. It keeps the pom poms the center of attraction or pop of color as they are supposed to be.

If I wanted something shinier, i would definitely go for ones like these Sophia Webster heels.
While pom poms look cool on casual outfits, there are a lot of flat versions out there. Pom poms also look beautiful on the red carpet with dresses when styled well. Some pom poms to try…
