Just as we thought slim waist and metal plate belts were the in-thing in belts fashion, wide waist cincher belts and obi belts came back to play! The good thing is, besides holding loose clothing, they also serve as some sort of corsets and shapers. I remember few years back when the older versions of wide waist belts were the go-to belts, they were even nicknamed “abortion belts” in Nigeria, lol.
I’ve had my eyes on these not-so-new versions for a while now, hopefully i would get one soon. These belts come in different shapes, colors and designs and can be worn in different ways and with different pieces – skirts, dresses, etc.
