Hello lovelies, how was your week? Mine practically flew! I attended Karazin university’s African cultural day 2013 yesterday, my first time there since the 3yrs i’ve been here. I put this outfit together less than an hour to the event just as i got home from school, i wanted just a touch of ankara because i felt it was a school activity so i don’t need to wear one my complete 6 yards ankara outfits, i was searching for what to wear, Queeneth happened to have this ankara short that was too small for her and voila! it became mine 🙂 I improvised as usual, i turned my ruffled shoulder dress to a blouse just because i like the ruffled design ( check out my previous outfit with a dress as a top here) and accesorized with my old accessories.

The event didn’t particularly turn out as i expected but being the first time there’s room for improvement. In general, it was a good event. I met some new people and also people i only see online via social networks. There were some cultural displays, drama, dance, fashion show, etc like in every other African cultural day events. I tried to get photos of some of the displays but the lighting inside the hall was poor and i’m not good with flash photography, so excuse the quality.
