Two Piece Outfit For Amy @ 40

One of my aunts (by marriage) turned 40 recently and we celebrated her in church yesterday. It was an opportunity to rock my two piece outfit.

She’s one of my closest aunts and an all round nice human. Her birthday was on the 1st of May but the celebration was on 6th. There was more than enough to eat and everyone had a  nice time. 

Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect from a birthday celebration in church. Do you blame me, I’m used to birthday dinners, turnups/owambe, lol.

For the church thanksgiving service/birthday celebration, my two piece outfit was my top pick. P.S – other names for two piece outfits are co-ord, matching top and bottom set. Remember my floral coord outfit? 

I bought the fabric from a secondary school mate (@iam__thefabricmerchant) and had blogger babe Justporsh make it for me via her clothing line @porshher).

The love for these revamped two piece outfits began after seeing several new styles on my Instagram explore page. Everyone and their grandma has at least 2 different two piece outfits.

Yours truly now has her own trendy two piece outfit and I can’t wait to show you more two piece outfits I made recently in kimono style. I’ve been looking to get kimono two piece sets since last year and eventually got them this year. Look out for the outfits coming soon on the blog.

I added my white Kurt Cobain Sunglasses from my last birthday outfit for an added touch of cool. The white blended with the colors on my outfit. For my feet, I went with the good old mule shoes for fashion and comfort. You’ve seen them severally on the blog.
